QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Mohammad Aslam Khan Raisani has directed relevant authorities to slash non-development and unnecessary expenditures in the next financial budget so that maximum funds could be earmarked for provision of jobs to unemployed youths, complete ongoing development schemes and execute proposed uplift projects.

He said this while chairing a meeting to review provincial matters and progress of ongoing schemes in health, education and other sectors with his funds in Mastung district.

He directed to prepare estimation of likely expenditures and proposed development program in the next financial budget besides giving priority to development of education, health, communication and irrigation sectors.

“The Balochistan government is bound to utilize funds and resources for the development of people of the province,” he said adding that 7th National Finance Commission Award had increased resources of the province which would help in launching more development programs.

He said that all government funds would be utilized for the prosperity of people of the province.

He said that it was the responsibility of the government departments and institutions to implement development schemes in letter and spirit adding that no negligence in this regard would be tolerated.

He ordered to timely complete ongoing projects of Nawab Ghaus Bakhsh Raisani Shaheed Educational Enclave and Hospital in Mastung district.
