The clashes between Mangal and Bangash tribes over water dispute continued on the twelfth consecutive day in Shalozan, Tangi and Haiwas areas of the tribal region.

After the killing of seven more people the death toll has reached to 36 while 54 have been injured. Both sides were using heavy weapons including missiles, mortars and rockets against each others.

The security forces also targeted the hideouts of militants with artillery. However, no casualty was reported. The fighting continued till late night.

Political Agent Syed Musadaq Shah told journalists at Parachinar that efforts were on to broker a ceasefire between the warring tribes.
