PESHAWAR, June 17: A man from Fata was killed here on Sunday allegedly by Taliban as they suspected him of selling narcotics.

The deceased, identified as Syed Kamal Mulakhel, was returning to home from his under-construction building in Mulakhel when the attackers on motorcycles opened fire on him.

He was warned by Taliban about two weeks ago to wind up his narcotics business.

Meanwhile, Kohat frontier region assistant political agent Tariq Khan imposed a fine of Rs1.2 million on Muhammadkhel tribe for not cooperating to trace the killers of Subedar Major Iran Gul.

Subedar Gul, an official of the khasadar force, was killed two months ago.
