GILGIT: Two young men drowned while swimming in Attabad Lake in Hunza on Friday.

According to Rescue 1122,Musharraf, 23 and Piyar Ali, residents of Ghizer, were working in a hotel in Hunza.

They went to Attabad Lake and started swimming in the lake Shishkat, but they drowned.

Local volunteers recovered them and shifted them to the Civil Hospital in Gulmit upper Hunza but they died before reaching the hospital.

After legal procedure, the bodies were handed over to the relatives of the deceased.
