LAHORE: Eighteen more people on Tuesday tested positive for the coronavirus in Lahore during the last 24 hours, taking the tally of confirmed cases in the provincial capital to 144.

In Punjab, the total number of Covid-19 positive cases is now 676 after 38 more cases were reported across the province.

The total number of confirmed cases in other cities is as followed: DG Khan 207, Multan 89, Nankana Sahib 13, Rawalpindi 44, Jhelum 28, Gujranwala 12, Gujrat 62 and Faisalabad nine.

The spokesperson for the health department said the 14,890 tests have been carried out for coronavirus in Punjab so far. He said the total deaths reported in Punjab were nine.
