KARACHI: Local bullion prices of one gram and one tola gold on Saturday rose to all-time high of Rs94,300 and Rs80,847, showing a jump of Rs650 and Rs557 respectively.

This is the third time this year that domestic gold prices have broken previous records on the back of soaring international prices.

Top Line Securities Mohammad Sohail said the country’s gold sector is attracting investment. However, documentation drive is discouraging investors and most of the money is going to high-yielding bank term deposits and National Saving Schemes.
