TANK: Two rival groups killed 15 people in Ammakhel village here on Thursday.

The police claimed that gunmen from Bhettani tribe attacked two motorcyclists, who were the relatives of an alleged proclaimed offender, Inam Marwat.

They said the motorcyclists died instantly.

The police said Inam Marwat and his armed men later killed two members of Bhettani tribe at a filling station and killed a motorcyclist and injured his son in the same area.

They claimed that the supporters of Inam Marwat opened indiscriminate fire on a passenger coach on Darrabin Road killing 10 people and injuring five, including a woman.

The passengers belonged to both Marwat and Bhettani tribes.

Bodies were shifted to the district headquarters hospital, Tank, for postmortem.

The police said families of the armed groups had an old blood feud.

The relatives of the deceased demonstrated at the Tank hospital and demanded the immediate arrest of culprits.
