LAHORE: Clouds and soothing cold wind made weather a real treat of spring for the people of Lahore on Sunday.

Temperature was mild, maximum 25 degrees C, against the minimum 15 degrees C last night. A cloud cover and cold wind made trees and plants greener.

A large number of people including women and children took full advantage of the weather and thronged city’s various parks, open spaces and recreational places during the day and in the evening.

Rush was particularly seen at the Racecourse Park, Model Town Park, the Greater Iqbal Parks, Lahore Fort and the Badshahi Mosque, Lahore Zoo and the Fortress Stadium.

The Met department said this could be the last lovely weather of the spring as temperatures were bound to rise in the coming days.
