I TRAVEL frequently upcountry via train. Since 2001 I have always travelled in the AC sleeper coach and got tickets easily if one reserves seats in advance.

After the change of government, the booking and reservation for AC sleeper coach seats are neither available online nor from the Karachi cantonment railway station counter.

The business class compartment seats however, are available for reservation, but the facilities are not up to standard. There is only one toilet in the whole bogie for passengers. Of late, the booking office for the AC sleeper is mostly locked and I fail to understand the reason why.

I request the railway minister to look into the matter and give directions to resolve the issue.
