President House

Published December 11, 2018

IT was a good initiative taken by the government to open President House to the public. I am of the opinion, however, that the concerns of citizens of this country are not going to be resolved by only allowing them access to these state-owned buildings for a specific time everyday like a museum.

The people want solutions to the problems that really matter to them like: poverty, illiteracy, inflation and electricity shortfall.

Many Pakistanis voted for change and have high hopes from this government. Though the 100-day milestone has passed, it is still too early to pass judgment on its performance.
