PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor’s House has objected to the list of guests to be invited to the chief minister’s oath-taking ceremony scheduled for Friday (today), sources said.

They said that a list of over 300 people was sent to the Governor’s House, which said that the number of guests was more than the capacity of its Jirga Hall, which could accommodate about 200 persons only.

An official at the Governor’s House requesting anonymity confirmed that the guests on the list were more than the capacity of the hall. However, officials of the Chief Minister’s Secretariat and PTI expressed their ignorance about the development.
