At least 14 people were injured in a blast in Balochistan’s Noshki district on Monday. Police said two miscreants riding a motorcycle hurled a hand grenade at a shop on Masjid road in Noshki, DawnNewsTV reported.

The injured were rushed to the District Headquarters (DHQ) hospital for treatment, where the doctors described the condition of the injured as out of danger.

Meanwhile, police and other law enforcement personnel reached the site of incident and cordoned off the area. An investigation into the explosion also went underway.

In the aftermath of the explosion, security has been tightened in the city.

The incident comes a few days after a suicide attacker in Dalbandin targeted a passenger coach carrying Chinese engineers, injuring five including three Chinese nationals.
