ATTOCK: The district police have chalked out a security plan for Nawaz Sharif’s rally in Attock city on Wednesday (today).

DPO Attock Ibadat Nisar told to Dawn they would provide foolproof security to PML-N rally in Attock.

“We have deployed two SDPOs, three inspectors, nine SIs, 87 ASIs, 560 constables and 21 lady constables.”

He said Attock was a very sensitive area but the district administration and police were alert to any untoward situation.

Stadium and its surrounding areas and the routes of VVIPs will be combed.

He also said officers would be equipped to check public vehicles. Bomb Disposal Squad and other departments will also be on a standby.
