PESHAWAR: The Peshawar Electric Supply Company has announced that power supply will remain suspended on May 8 (Tuesday) in parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to maintenance work on the transmission lines.

According to a statement issued here on Saturday, the consumers of Ghazi, Qazi Pur Air Base and Jamra will suffer from 9am to 3pm due to suspension of power supply from Nishat Tarbela grid station.

Power Supply would also remain suspended from Hayatabad Phase-7 grid station from 3.30am to 2.30pm, resultantly consumers of Deans Heights, Hayatabad-6,7,8,11,12, Shaukat Khanam, Hayatabad Surgical, Frontier Ceramics, Cell Wood Steel and Green Wood feeders will face inconvenience. The consumers of Kidney Centre, RMT-1, RMT-2, Hayatabad-3, North West Hospital and Kacha Ghari feeders will be discomforted due to suspension of power supply from Jamrud grid station from 8.30am to 2.30pm.

Power supply will also remain suspended from Peshawar Cantonment grid station from 8.30am to 2.30pm, resultantly consumers of Palosi-1, 2, ICF-2 and Scarp will be affected.

Power supply would remain suspended from 132KV Nishat Tarbela grid station from 9am to 3pm, resultantly consumers of 11KV Yousafzai, Village-1, RMC, Village -2 and RBC feeders will face inconvenience.
