TOBA TEK SINGH: Counter-Terrorism Department police and personnel of intelligence agencies arrested two alleged terrorists on Monday and recovered detonators and other explosive materials from their possession.

A source said the CTD received information about the presence of suspected terrorists in an under-construction house in government revenue colony No 3 on Toba-Khikha bypass road opposite DHQ hospital following which they conducted a raid and arrested Sheikh Muhammad Tayyab of Lahore and Hussain Ahmad of Vehari.

The source said eight detonators, explosive powder, a timed device and several ball bearings were seized from their possession hidden in a toy. They were alleged to be activists of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi Al-Almi.
