Bannu win U-23 Games

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Under-23 Male Games’s second edition concluded at the Bannu Sports Complex on Friday.

Bannu took first position in 11 disciplines out of total 15 events.

Lakki defeated Bannu 2-1 in tug of war, Bannu defeated Lakki Marwat 35.31 in kabaddi, Bannu beat Lakki Marwat 3-1 in hockey, Bannu overcame Lakki Marwat by solitary goal in football and in the volleyball final, Bannu defeated Lakki Marwat 27-25, 23-25, 23-25, 25-22 and 29-27.

In the tennis final, Irshad Khan, Javed and Tahir defeated their respective rivals Rizwan, Yasir and Ibrar Ullah in straight sets.

Bannu defeated Lakki Marwat 3-0 in the badminton final while Lakki Marwat shocked Bannu 3-0 in table tennis.
