PESHAWAR: A man injured in the Parachinar market explosion died in a hospital in Peshawar on Monday, raising the death toll to 26. Hospital sources identified the deceased as Maqbool Hussain. The body was taken to Parachinar for burial.

Parachinar remained in the grip of gloom on the third day after the bomb blast as people continued to visit the bereaved families to offer condolences.

Senator Sajjad Hussain Turi also visited the Parachinar hospital and inquired about the health of the injured admitted there.

Talking to the media, he demanded that the government boost the security arrangements along the Pak-Afghan border to pre-empt such terrorist attacks in future.
