FPSC: some tips

Published January 22, 2017

THE Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) is the uppermost organisation that conducts tests for running the business of government. Although the FPSC transparency has not been challenged, it needs now some reforms to further increase its credibility.

Besides holding competitive examinations and selecting future bureaucrats for the nation, the FPSC conducts some general recruitment tests for federal institutions. A general recruitment test includes General English, Islamiat, Pakistan Studies, current affairs, general ability and sometimes questions relevant to a particular department.

These are like objective types of papers which only require filling up the given option in circles. These papers are checked by machine and do not take much time. Moreover, other testing services like NTS and PTS declare results within two or three days and in many cases upload the answer keys by night.
