Ban cigarettes

Published January 16, 2017

IN Pakistan thousands of people are losing their lives on a regular basis while millions of people have respiratory disease, mostly due to smoking and using tobacco.

According to an estimation, more than 100,000 people die annually due to tobacco and smoking.

The electronic cigarette is causing cardiovascular and respiratory problems. These cigarettes carry harmful chemicals, which are toxic to humans and can cause health issues. Besides, nicotine increases the risk of heart diseases.

I appeal to the government to totally ban the manufacture and import of cigarettes.
