TANK: A man and woman were killed in the name of honour in Batyari village in the jurisdiction of Gomal police station here on Thursday.

Rasham Bibi, mother-in-law of the deceased woman, told the Gomal police that she heard the voice of a man in the room of her daughter-in-law at midnight. She told the police that she then informed her husband, Taj Mohammad, and they went to the room of their daughter-in-law where they saw Obaidullah.

She said that her husband locked the door and informed their son who along with another person reached home in the morning and killed both of them.

The police registered an FIR and have started investigation.
