EOBI pension

Published October 26, 2016

I ENDORSE Mohammad Naim’s views that the EOBI pension should be raised to Rs13,000, at par with the minimum wages of workers. These are pensioners who spent their lifetime giving the country a progressive economy. Now, they are retired and need the support of the government to meet their ends.

The finance minister should take immediate and positive steps to rehabilitate retirees.
