LAHORE: The 11th national tent pegging championship concluded at Rangers Headquarters here on Thursday.

The championship was held from Oct 17 to 20 under the aegis of Pakistan Rangers (Punjab).

Ranger (Punjab) Maj Gen and Chairman Equestrian Federation of Pakistan, Umar Farooq Burki, welcomed the chief guest/Commander 4 Corps Lt Gen Sadiq Ali at Rangers Headquarters.

More than 100 teams, including a girls group, from 35 civil and military clubs from all over the country participated in the championship this year.

Military, civilian, Rangers officers and students of Ranger Public School witnessed the ceremony.

The corps commander awarded prizes to winning teams and individuals.

Single File team event was won by Shah-i-Mardan Club whereas Individual Lance first position was claimed by Mr Nasir and Mr Khan. Qamaruz Zaman clinched overall best rider position.
