SSGC billing

Published September 28, 2016

FOR the past three months, SSGC has been adding 13.50pc extra units over the actual meter reading. On inquiring, I was told that the additional amount is done because of gas pressure.

What is the method for measuring pressure? For the past many decades, domestic gas pressure remained normal. This arbitrary adding of 13.50pc on consumption units is illegal.

This seems to be a ploy to make the number of consumption units cross 300 units. Crossing 300 units increases the bill by almost four times.

I appeal to the authorities concerned to look into the matter.
