Gas leak

Published August 30, 2016

SENSING a strong smell of gas, I reported at the SSGC complaint number 1199 on July 4 last. A team of the gas company visited and determined that the leakage was in the underground line which would require road cutting. They informed me that permission for road cutting would be obtained from the DHA after which the repair work would be carried out.

No action has been taken so far. The residents of the area are exposed to health risks as a result of their exposure to the strong smell of the leaking gas. This is also causing the company a big loss.
