LARKANA: The Naudero police on Tuesday arrested a man for allegedly torturing two boys who he suspected had stolen his nine pigeons.

The news went viral when the two boys, aged about eight-nine years, were publicly beaten up at Kalar Chowk with their hands tied to their back.

One of the boys fainted while they were made to prostrate on the road for long.

The man, Mohammad Ali Ansari, also rejected onlookers’ repeated requests to have mercy on them.

Someone secretly shot the video with his mobile phone camera and sent it to Larkana DIG Abdulullah Shaikh via WhatsApp. The DIG ordered immediate arrest of Ansari, who was later picked up from his house and booked.
