Rawaan it is

Published August 21, 2016

If you haven’t seen the beautifully shot Rawaan video, see it now. Directed by Jami, it pays tribute to Pakistan’s cultural diversity through a musical voyage. Yes it is, in a manner of speaking, the successor to the Rhythm of Unity song which caught the attention of the nation in the 1990s, but Rawaan has a modern-day aesthetic sensibility. The way it has captured the sights and sounds of different parts of the country is a visual delight (if a tad more dramatic than was perhaps required). Great endeavour.
