LAHORE: Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif returned to the provincial capital after a five-day China visit here on Friday.

Talking to the media at the airport, the chief minister said that fruitful talks were held with the Chinese leadership and investors.

He said that objectives of his visit were achieved and that the visit had been more successful than his expectations.

The chief minister said that more investment would come from China in different sectors while Chinese cooperation with Pakistan, especially Punjab, would also increase.

Chinese Consul General Yu Boren, the Punjab chief secretary and senior officers were present at the airport.
