LAHORE: The University of Veterinary and Animals Sciences (UVAS) and University of Engineering and Technology (UET) held walks on their campuses to increase awareness about dengue on Monday.

The university premises were cleaned to destroy possible breeding places for dengue larvae. Fogging and spraying was also done on the there to minimise the risk of mosquito breeding and dengue transmission.

The UVAS also organised various activities to create awareness of the menace of dengue. The dengue monitoring committee of the UVAS examined the campus and residential areas for mosquito larvae.

The UET said its anti-dengue taskforce was making efforts to eradicate dengue and aware the people about it.

PU: The Punjab University has issued the schedule for submission of admission fee and forms for Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D) second, third, fourth and final professional annual examination 2016.

The last date for submission of admission forms for said exams with single fee is Aug 5 while the forms can be submitted with double fee till Aug 8.

The PU on Monday declared the results of BSc Medical Laboratory Technology Course (4-years programme) Part-II annual examinations 2015.
