According to a survey conducted in March by Tech London Advocates, the UK’s tech sector was one of the most vigorous anti-Brexit groups in the country, with an overwhelming 87pc of respondents reporting that they opposed the nation leaving the European Union. The tech sector accounts for about 10pc of the country’s gross domestic product, and now that Brexit has been approved by voters, firms such as Vodaphone and Transferwise are considering moving their headquarters from the UK in order to maintain access to the giant EU market.
