LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s LA-37 (Valley-II) Lahore’s winning candidate Ghulam Mohiuddin Dewan has dedicated his win in the Azad Kashmir elections to the martyrs and injured in India-held Kashmir.

He was speaking to his Kashmiri voters and party workers who had come to congratulate him at his residence on Friday.

Mr Dewan said the Punjab chief minister’s secretariat and “Model Town Rigging Cell” could not defeat him because the Kashmiri citizens loved him. He said he would ensure development in the areas of Kashmiri people in Lahore.

Mr Dewan said Indian premier Narendra Modi was Pakistan’s top enemy and was busy killing innocent Muslims while the incumbent rulers in Pakistan had developed business relations with him. He added he would continue raising the Kashmir issue in the Kashmir Assembly, adding that he would also ensure that the PML-N leaders fulfilled their promises with Kashmiri people that they made during the election campaign. He also said his win showed that Lahore was no more PML-N’s citadel.

PTI leaders Ejaz Chaudhry, Shoaib Siddiqui, Jamshed Iqbal Cheema, Saloni Bukhari and Saadia Suhail were also present.
