KARACHI: Trials to pick the Sargodha squad for the upcoming ICRC National Disabled T20 Cricket Championship will be held at the Sports Stadium in Sargodha on Friday.

According to Amiruddin Ansari, honorary secretary of Pakistan Disabled Cricket Association (PDCA), a three-member selection committee comprising of former Test player Naved Latif, ex-international Samiullah Khan Niazi and Ahmed Hayat will watch the trials from 3:00pm.

Interested physically disabled cricketers from Sargodha are advised to report to Kaleem Alam, who is the PDCA coordinator for Sargodha, in proper cricket attire.

Meanwhile, Quetta will hold trials for the same tournament at the Balochistan Cricket Academy in Quetta on Saturday at 3:00pm.

The selection committee consisting of Rashid Riaz, Sanaullah Khan and Dawood Shah will watch the trials and the players intending to attend to are advised to report to Balochistan coordinator Aslam Bareach.

 The fifth edition of the competition is tentatively expected to be played in Karachi in the second week of August.
