DERA MURAD JAMALI: A pipeline supplying gas to the Pirkoh purification plant in Dera Bugti district was blown up late on Friday night.
Levies officials said that militants planted an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) along the pipeline and detonated it by remote control.
“A big portion of the pipeline was blown up,” the officials said.
Engineers and staff of the Oil and Gas Development Company inspected the damage but will start repairing the pipeline after getting a security clearance.
