New Friday The 13th movie to be ‘origin story’

Fans of horror genre will be happy to know that a new Friday The 13th movie is in development, and some news has emerged on what the new movie will play like. We’ve heard that it may have been a found-footage film, but the latest suggests that it will be an origin story.

Producer Brad Fuller said, “There was a lot of found-footage scripts that they wanted us to make and I was not going to do that because I don’t think that can exist in Jason Voorhees’ world,” Fuller told. Aaron Guzikowski has written the new screenplay, on which Fuller commented, “Aaron’s story has great characters …. You kind of have to understand Jason Voorhees, so we go back and we kind of started over and work our way forward.”

“[It will be] origin-ish, but it’s an origin that no one has seen before — a little bit different from what you’ve seen before.”

Cars 3 info delivered from Disney/Pixar

Cars 3 is set to enter cinemas next summer in June. And it is reported that the film revolves around Lightning McQueen (Owen Wilson) who “will need help to compete in the increasingly high-tech racing world of the upcoming Cars 3. That’s where the new trainer comes in — the sleek, yellow Cruz Ramirez is a young Hispanic female race car who instructs Lightning McQueen, as this exclusive concept art depicts during a beach run.”

Here’s the concept art: “Cruz Ramirez is trying to figure out how this old dog can learn some new tricks,” says Cars 3 director Brian Fee. “(McQueen) is not an old man, but he’s one of the older cars on the circuit with new rookies coming in. People start to wonder and ask when he might retire.”

Production continues on the film but fans of Cars movie still have to wait one more year till next summer.
