SUKKUR: A clash among the Jatoi, Abro and Bugti communities in the New Pind area of Sukkur on Sunday left 10 men and five children injured.

All the victims belonged to the Bugti community.

The rivals came to blows over the construction of a sewerage line in Ahmed Nagar Colony. Fifteen people, five of them children, received club and rock injuries during the clash and were provided treatment at local health facilities.

The victims said that Muzafar Abro and Qamar Jatoi, leading their respective groups, attacked each other and then Bugtis at the behest of some influential figures who were patronising criminal activities in the area.

They demanded protection to the them and action against the culprits.
