GUJRANWALA: The Sonica Industries involved in gas theft deposited on Monday Rs 13million of the detection bill imposed on it by the SNGPL.

General Manager of SNGPL Faisal Tayyab told newsmen that an inspection team had caught red handed the Sonica owners stealing gas. A case was registered against owner Muhammad Saleem. During investigation he was declared guilty and asked to pay Rs38.6 million detection bill.

The case was under trial in the Lahore High Court and the accused is on bail. However, he deposited Rs13 million with the SNGPL accounts department and promised to clear the remaining amount very soon.
