TAXILA: The Third Asian Kabaddi Championship began at Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) Sports Complex in Wah Cantt on Monday.

Seven teams including India, Iran, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Pakistan are participating in the international event jointly organised by Pakistan Kabaddi Federation (PKF) and POF sports control board.

Federal Minister for defense production Rana Tanveer Hussain and POF Chief Lt General Omer Mehmood Hayat inaugurated the opening ceremony.
