KARACHI: Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad on Saturday inaugurated the renovated Moin auditorium at the Dow Medical College — an affiliate of the Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) — at a ceremony held on Saturday at the DMC, where he was informed that it was the oldest auditorium of the DMC that had been given radical uplift.

On the occasion, Dr Ibad said the DUHS had become a renowned and distinguished brand name, which had only three institutions at the time of its inception that now had increased to 63. He called it a remarkable achievement.

The governor said for the common man the success of the DUHS might be surprising, but it was the fruit of tireless work by its entire team.

“I am proud to be a student of this great college and have been able to contribute to its progress,” he said.

Dr Ibad also visited the Jinnah Sindh Medical University (JSMU) and inaugurated its dental outpatient department.
