Fourth-grade girl raped, impregnated by teacher in Larkana

LARKANA: Hatri Ghulam Shah Police on Tuesday booked a primary school teacher on charges of sexually assaulting and raping a fourth-grade girl student in Nau Abad village.

The girl's maternal uncle, Ghulam Hussain Kalhoro, registered a First-Information Report (FIR) against the accused under Section 376 of the Pakistan Penal Code. The school teacher has been arrested and the FIR filed under No.9/2016.

The police at the Hatri Ghulam Shah police station have referred the case to Chandka Medical College Hospital, where the girl underwent a medical examination. On Tuesday, the assistant police surgeon at the hospital, Dr Munir Shaikh, confirmed that the girl's medical check-up had taken place, and that results showed she had been raped.

Dr Meena Kumari, the medical-legal officer who conducted the test, said the girl is four months pregnant.

The girl's parents sensed that something was wrong when she complained of nausea and vomiting, sources said. On Tuesday, the girl and her father Mumtaz held a protest at SP chowk, where the Sindh minister was presiding over a meeting.

DSP Yar Muhammed Rind met with them and assured the girl that she would get justice.

The judicial magistrate, Zafarullah Jakhrani, remanded the suspect in police custody for seven days on Wednesday. He was picked up on Tuesday by the Hatri Ghulam Shah police and during interrogation, confessed to have committed the crime, police sources said.

Where are molanas. Howcome male teachers are teaching females and CLERICS are quite on this matter and talking about Sharia laws all the time.

In this case Justice delayed will be Justice denied. Take the perpetrator to task swiftly, if proved guilty. No appeals or patch ups.

@Kamal Pasha. MALE TEACHERS CAN ALSO ABUSE MALE STUDENTS. These kinds of acts are horrendous and must be adequately dealt with. Such people should be fired immediately and arrested. Do the maulanas from the CCI ever speak up in support of the victims in such cases? Do they condemn the perpetrators of such heinous crimes? Is any support being offered to the victims and their families? Do these poor children receive any kind of counselling from a licensed professional?

Criminals reside in every society and you can not stop all crimes but the question is what kind of punishment will be carried out to deter others from carrying out similar crimes/acts? Govt can take precautionary step by ensuring that no male teacher teaches any kids under certain age in any school i.e. Government or Private. If that is not possible then there should be few adult females present in all male taught classes so that there is no chance for a collusion.

There are thousands of molestation cases going not reported every day, even they molest boys but due to the gender no one every bothered to go against teachers. Boys did drop out finally and faced punishments from parents who not even bothered to understand the problem. Thanks to those teachers many personalities have been damaged for ever and they could be on the wrong path too in future to revenge.

This case has only surfaced because of 4-months deep pregnancy. It is already a case of another life being born that should also be taken into account while deciding the case. Let there be no forced marriage accepted as a way out of this heinous crime and examplary punishment meted out to the culprit.

Now think about young's future.. And where were the parents for last four months... Nothing happens in one day. It would have been started so earlier but was noticed late.. actually those parents should also be inconcern with their daughter .. if they had been close to their young , it would have never happened... as she might shared her problem tht her tchr is not a goood guy... and parents got it fixed..
