Park for politics

Published February 8, 2016

PUBLIC parks are built to give citizens relief from mental and physical fatigue. Unfortunately, Chowrangi Park near Mazar-i-Quaid is now being used by the PPP for its political activities.

PPP flags can be seen on every tree. There are billboards with political slogans on every corner of the park. It seems that the park is a PPP property.

People who come to relax in the park are fed up with political propaganda at this public place situated in the centre of the city.

Peace will return to the area when the PPP confines political activities to the PPP secretariat building. Political activity at a city park is not acceptable.

I urge the government to restore the natural beauty of this public park.
