Bodies of slain policemen sent to Khuzdar

KHUZDAR: The eight police personnel killed in a suicide attack in Quetta on Wednesday had been called from Khuzdar by the provincial government to provide security to polio workers during a three-day vaccination campaign.

They were part of the Balochistan Constabulary in Khuzdar.

The bodies of Rasool Bakhsh, Mohammad Khan, Hazoor Bakhsh, Jumma Khan, Abdul Qadir, Abdul Khaliq, Muhammad Amin and Ali Gul were sent to their native towns in the district after their funeral prayers were offered in the Quetta Police Lines.

Six injured personnel —ASI Muhammad Azim, Head Constable Lal Muhammad and Constables Mukhtar Ahmed, Muhammad Younus, Muhammad Rafiq and Din — are also residents of Khuzdar district.
