Porsche responds to Paul walker wrongful death lawsuit

Less than two months after Paul Walker’s daughter Meadow Walker alleged that the Porsche Carrera GT lacked safety features that could have prevented the accident, the car company is defending themselves against several accusations.

In court, Porsche alleged that the “risk and dangers were open and obvious and known to him (Paul) and that he chose to conduct himself in a manner so as to expose himself to such perils, dangers and risks, thus assuming all the risks involved in using the vehicle (2005 Carrera GT).”

In response to Porsche’s filing, Meadow’s attorney Jeff Milam continued to argue that Paul was not at fault for the incident.

“Contrary to Porsche’s assertions, the facts are clear: Paul was the passenger in a car that was not designed to protect its occupants in a crash on a dry, empty straightaway in broad daylight and at speeds well below the vehicle’s advertised capabilities.”

The Fast and the Furious star and his long-time friend passed away on November 30, 2013.

Harrison Ford on Skype!

Imagine being on a Skype call with an organisation who you’ve donated money to, only to see Harrison Ford’s face pop up.

It’s the scenario several huge Star Wars fans found themselves in last month when Han Solo himself decided to get involved in helping to find worthy fans who may win the chance to attend the Star Wars: The Force Awakens premiere this December. As the fans who had contributed money to support great causes spoke to representatives from website Omaze, Harrison found creative way to show his face on the call. First, he just strolled into the background of one call, before casually asking ‘Hey, how are ya?’

Then for another fan, the camera cut out on the reps and when it came back to life, Harrison was sat there instead. Well, we really liked the idea, Ford!
