Amidst the high-pitched voices that are these days coming from India, especially when it comes to matters related to Pakistani artists working in that country, there comes Fawad Khan’s statement which, it seems, intends to cool things down. There’s nothing wrong with that. In fact, it should be appreciated.

Fawad K, according to an Indian newspaper, says he’s never faced any problems in India. It sounds like music to our ears. However, no one can deny that concerts of Pakistani musicians have been cancelled and visas are not being given to our artists. So, I hope every Pakistani actor and singer is treated the way Fawad K has been greeted across the border. It has to be across-the-board experience.
