Joyrides & taxpayers

THIS is apropos the prime minister’s visit to the US to participate in the UN Assembly session with his army of delegates.

During the pre-election campaign the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s multi-billionaire traders promised the nation to make this country an ‘Asian tiger’, making it stand on its feet by breaking the begging bowl.

But the reality is quite opposite. They are running this country on loans with heavy interest. The story does not end here.

They consume taxes and these highly conditional loans from the IMF are so lavishly spent by taking their families and friends on offshore visits. And the results are diplomatic failures.

Expenses of these fruitless visits are being borne by the people. I request our politicians to have mercy on this poor nation.
