KARACHI: A young domestic servant was found dead in mysterious circumstances in a bungalow in Defence, phase-IV, on Sunday, triggering a protest by a group of domestic servants working in the same locality outside the hospital, officials said.

They added that Ahmed Din Nohrio, 21, was found dead inside the servant quarter in bungalow-96 on lane-10, Khayaban-i-Saher, said Gizri police station SHO Imran Zaidi.

Quoting the owner of the home, Fazal Matin, the SHO said the deceased was a cook at the bungalow and after preparing the dinner he left the residence for a while and came back and prepared tea for the family members. Later on he went to sleep and when someone from the family woke him up for breakfast he was found dead.
