Adam Sandler’s movie tops the box office
SANDLER is back on top with Sony Pictures Animation’s Hotel Transylvania 2.
The 49-year-old star voices Dracula in the sequel to the 2012 animated hit, which delivered a studio-reported $67.7 million opening and is on track to set a new record for a September opening.
It could also become Sandler’s best opening in 10 years, making it his second-highest grossing movie ever after 2005’s football comedy The Longest Yard. The actor co-wrote and co-produced Hotel Transylvania 2, which also features the voices of Selena Gomez, Andy Samberg and Kevin James.
