VEHARI: Three members of a family were killed in a road accident on Thursday on Burewala-Vehari Road near 37-Phatak Stop, some 20km from here.

Reports said 70-year-old Ramzan along with his daughter Haleema, 30, and nephew Ashfaq, 18, were on his way home at Chak 54-EB by a bike. Near 37-Phatak Stop, a bus hit the two-wheeler, killing them on the spot.

The bus driver managed his escape. Machiwal police have registered a case against the bus driver.
