Gurdaspur attack

Published July 29, 2015

THE Pakistani nation condemns terrorism in any form, anywhere around the world. Terrorism knows no border and it is a menace that has gripped the entire world.

All Pakistanis condemn terrorism in India, but the Indian media leaves no stone unturned in venting its spleen against Pakistan, whenever their state security apparatus fails to foil acts of terrorism.

The Indian media’s preposterous allegations against Pakistan, of having a hand in the Gurdaspur tragedy, are contemptible. The Indian media began its finger pointing even before an investigation had begun. The Indian media must verify facts and behave with professional integrity while covering such sensitive matters, or is Pakistan asking for too much of the Indian fourth estate?
