THIS is about Urdu as the official language which is strange. Urdu is only limited to Pakistan and India, while English is an international language that gives us an edge over other people.

Most of the advanced knowledge, work and global trade and communication is in English. There is no need to impose Urdu on everyone as Pakistan has various ethnicities.

English is a neutral language. Besides, most people speak Urdu and English. Communication in schools and offices is in Urdu whereas paperwork is mostly in English.

It is better to make people learn English in government-run schools where our elite’s children should also study. Since childhood, we try to learn and improve our English. Now people will get an excuse to slack off and run away from English.
