SUKKUR: A man was injured in an armed clash broke out on Saturday between two groups of the Katohar community over a piece of land within Dil Murad police limits in Jacobabad.According to reports reaching here, the two sides used fire arms to attack each other in which Shah Murad Katohar was wounded.

The victim was taken to the Civil Hospital Jacobabad where doctors said his condition was out of danger.

Murad Katohar told reporters that Sahib Dad, Muhammad Khan and Ghulam Shabbir Katohar wanted to occupy their (Murad’s group) land. He was injured as result of firing from the rivals, he said.

No case of the incident was registered at the area police station till filing this report.
