SOCIAL networking sites were made for socializing. However, people are becoming more and more unsocial with each passing day. The trend of ‘unsocial gatherings’ is becoming our habit.

From a lavish wedding party to a simple family gathering, this attitude is becoming more prominent.

At parties, people spend more time taking selfies with others and less time talking or interacting with others. At a small family gathering, half the family members watch TV and others are busy with their cell phones.

We spend less time knowing about others and more time in looking at their pictures on Facebook and Instagram. We conduct long chats on WhatsApp, but don’t have time to talk in person. Where are we going? What are we doing? And why do we not think about the consequences?
